happy new year!

currently, its seollal.
the lunar new year.
in korea,
massive traffic gridlock, visit to families,
yummy foods, and traditions that i am now learning.

for korean-americans,
our family gathered last night.
had the traditional dinner and fellowship time.

and normally, i couldnt care what happens in korea.

but now that i have future in-laws,

i need to know the correct customs and traditions.

the first is that I had to buy them some sort of gift set.
gift sets are pretty expensive ($200-$300).

second, if we were IN korea, then i would be the one

cooking, cleaning, slaving awa in the kitchen.

whew. i'm glad that korea is far away
