bm dresses

my lovely BMs picked out a dress :)

i want to take a moment and applaud myself
for being a carefree bride that doesn't really care for colors or matching
but more for practicality and affordability.
ok I'm done with praising myself.

so i originally wanted my wedding colors to be
the yellow and gray theme.
however, i don't have much time, resources, and $$
to be picky on what i want.
so i sat back and asked myself
apparently I'm supposed to pick a "color" theme
but what do you usually use it for?
and the only thing I could think of was for BM dresses.

i was also scared scared in asking my BMs to be in their position
the economy sucks! and honestly
its an unnecessary expense to pay for being in a wedding
so i wanted to release at least some of the financial burden.

I asked my bms to pick whatever dress they wanted
and then i would choose my color from there.
we also wanted a dress that was under $100

bridesmaid S and i searched high and low
jcrew, banana, target, black and white market, ann taylor, everything!
we also went to the mall and actually went into random stores
and we stopped by limited bc
MOH J had bought this lovely dress from there in the past

there wasn't much choices.
and we moved on to the sales choices
i actually started looking for cardigans for myself
when awesome BM S found a dress on sale.

it was a bright fun color (kinda peachy, kinda orangy, coral?)
and the cut wasn't boring or plain
the back was actually a little flirty and cute
the material is a satin material
and bc we're all asian short,
the dresses weren't tooo short (and conservative) enough

but the best part:
it was $39!!

and my bms are so great
i emailed and over the weekend
they all went out and bought it from various malls
in their size!
