the proposal

the propsal was simple and sweet.
the boy knows me so well :)

i really wanted to eat steak
i get these random food cravings
and i mentioned to the boy we should go eat steak.

on Friday, i was at Caribou Coffee (such a great place to relax)
and the boy mentioned that he will pick me up
from where i was to go eat.
as soon as i got in the car,
i mentioned that we should just go eat at J Alexander's.
which was down the street.
he was a little hesitant (totally faking it) but agreed to the place.

the hostess sat us down and told us specials
she also mentioned the variety of wine on the back of the menu
the waitress came by and also mentioned the wine menu
the manager came up to us and introduced herself
told us more specials and then casually mentioned the wine menu again

at this point, i was too excited about eating steak to really pay attention.

so i am excitedly looking over hte menu
when the boy again mentions about wine
so i turned the menu over
and i didnt notice i
but on the far right, in the same font and menu design
"why i love miso"

i love my korean name, miso
it means smile.
however, in japanese, it means bean paste
so i am accustomed to seeing it on menu boards

but then i did a double take
looked closer
and on the bottom, it read
"will you marry me?"

it surprised me and it was simple and sweet :)
