the moment

i never had THE dress moment
where I try on wedding dresses and just know that
"this is it" type feeling

instead, i went to three different bridal salons
a really cute boutique, david's bridal, and a korean boutique.
i ended up trying several on
and just picking one depending on whatever looks good on me
it wasnt a "this is it" moment.
i was happy with it (dont get me wrong)
but it wasnt that special feeling.

however, i had it with my wedding shoes.
im not even a shoes girl
but when i tried these wedding shoes on
it felt perfect.

so for several months
i browsed alllll websites available to man
for wedding shoes
piperlime, 6PM, zappoes, shoes.com, dsw, etc etc
although there were many selections
im not too comfortable with buying shoes online
(i need to try it on)

i went and looked at bloomingdales, macys, dillards, off 5th saks, dsw

and so i got desperate
less than a week before I go to Korea
so I ordered two shoes from zappos as backup.
they have free returns after 365 days
the shoes came, looked awful, and my feet hurt the moment i put my feet in
but i kept it as backup
just in case

until yesterday,
my mother and i went shopping
at macys for a mothers day present
for my grandmother.
i browsed to the shoe section
saw these shoes, tried it on
and had the yes...this is it moment :)
