nutcracker

my love for Nutcracker started when i was a little girl
as an avid reader, i went to the library a LOT

one of my favorite books to check out was
this book written about the behind the scene production
of a ballet company (i think it was the NY ballet)'s
production of the nutcracker.

it was written for kids
narrated by the girl who eventually becomes the main star
and it has raw footage and behind the scene shots
of the ballet production
including BLACK AND WHITE photos
favorite book ever!
(cannot find it! if anybody has any idea please let me know)

anyways since then
i loved the story, the magic, the music, etc.

today i was able to go see the show at Gwinnet Ballet Theatre
with my sunday school kids.
it was a really good production
(not as good as the FOX Theatre one but good enough).
