just checking in

so I was going to diligently blog my new role as a rookie mommy
but...
easier said than done
bc the last time I gave you an update..she was 3 months old and now she's 9 months (next week).

my cutie, silly baby girl is almost 9 months
how is this even possible?

things that are different from previous post
1. she is mobile
within the 6 month span, she has rolled over.  sat up.  army crawled.  really crawled.  started pulling herself up. and is even cruising.  her new trick is to pull herself up and let go with one hand.  she'll prob be walking the next time I update.

2.  with mobility, comes more headaches.
we have a townhome where the downstairs is one big room.  figuring out how to baby proof yet give her the adequate space that she needs has been challenging and we're still trying to figure it out.  we've baby proofed the outlets, corners but there's more to do.

already, she has several accidents and even one that resulted in a trip to the doctors.  sigh.

3.  she's eating solids.  she loves everything.  i haven't had a problem with her being a picky eater.  she especially loves carrots.  i steam it and cut it up and give it to her and she LOVES it.

4.  but she's still breastfeeding.  our goal of making it to one year is slowly becoming reality.

5.  she's more expressive.  this little girl is feisty.  if she wants more, she'll let you know.  if you take something away from her, she'll be frustrated and squeal.  but, she's a happy baby.  she likes to smile and laugh and clap.
